Climate summary reports

Climate summary reports present Territorial Authority-level composite measures of extreme climate events and climate variability, using the Extreme Climate Index (ECI) developed for Aotearoa.

To view data for a specific TA, select one from the list you'll see after following the link below. Once a report is open, you can switch to another TA report using the menu at the top of the first page (under the header). All the charts in the report can be downloaded, either as an image - or the data exported as a table.

As VCSN grid data is clipped to the coastline of Te Ika-a-Māui/the North Island, Te Wai Pounamu/South Island and Rakiura/Stewart Island, no data is available for Rēkohu/the Chatham Islands Territorial Authority.
