Children aged 0-4 years are commonly exposed to household hazardous substances

Children (0–14 years) are most likely to be injured from hazardous substances in the home through unintentional ingestion, with 0 - 4 year olds being most affected.

Adults (15+ years) are most likely to unintentionally inhale hazardous substances at work or in the home.
